objec­tive, we are looking for a highly moti­vated Marine Insu­rance Tech­ni­cian (m/f/d) for our UK branch (London).

Your Tasks

  • Provi­ding back-office support to our broking teams
  • Setting up files and hand­ling all insu­rance contract docu­ments (Cargo, H&M, P&I and
    other marine insu­rance products)
  • Main­tai­ning and vali­da­ting contract and port­folio data
  • Commu­ni­ca­ting with brokers, under­wri­ters, insu­rers and inter­na­tional clients
  • Mana­ging premium accoun­ting, invoi­cing and payment reconciliations
  • Supporting place­ment and renewal processes
  • Colla­bo­ra­ting closely with broking teams across the Georg Duncker Group
  • Moni­to­ring and main­tai­ning compli­ance with appli­cable regu­la­tory and compliance
    requirements

Your Profile

  • Legally autho­rized to work in UK
  • Minimum of 5 years of expe­ri­ence as tech­ni­cian within the Lloyd’s and London insurance
    market
  • Sound know­ledge of Hull, Cargo and/or P&I insu­rance products
  • Proven expe­ri­ence in premium proces­sing and the ability to provide tech­nical insurance
    exper­tise and support
  • Accu­rate, orga­nized and proac­tive working style with strong atten­tion to detail
  • Excel­lent commu­ni­ca­tion and team­work skills, with the ability to work effec­tively in an
    inter­na­tional environment
  • Strong profi­ci­ency in London Market systems and insu­rance tech­no­logy platforms
    (PPL/Whitespace & Xchanging)
