objec­tive, we are looking for a highly moti­vated Senior Broker Marine Insu­rance (m/f/d) for our UK branch (London).

Your Tasks

• Place and nego­tiate insu­rance and reinsu­rance risks (H&M, P&I, Cargo and other marine insu­rance products)  in the Lloyd’s and London Market
• Develop and main­tain strong rela­ti­onships with exis­ting clients, insu­rers and under­wri­ting partners
• Colla­bo­rate closely with broking colle­agues and busi­ness deve­lo­p­ment teams across the Georg Duncker Group
• Expan­ding the stra­tegic network of insurer and placing chan­nels, with a parti­cular focus on the Lloyd’s and London market
• Provide profes­sional advice and support to clients within the marine and ship­ping industry, deli­ve­ring tail­ored insu­rance solu­tions and excep­tional service.

Your Profile

• Legally autho­rized to work in UK
• Minimum of 10 years’ expe­ri­ence in marine insu­rance broking and/or under­wri­ting, prefer­ably within the Lloyd’s and London Market
• Strong product know­ledge and expe­ri­ence across the marine insu­rance sector
• Well-estab­lished rela­ti­onships with senior decision-makers within the insu­rance market and/or the marine, ship­ping, commo­dity trading and energy industries
• Healthy insurer network and/or strong connec­tions within ship­ping /marine/ energy/commodity trading sectors with a proven ability to achieve optimal place­ment outcomes
  for clients
• Outstan­ding nego­tia­tion and commu­ni­ca­tion skills
• Strong team player with the ability to colla­bo­rate across inter­na­tional teams
• Self-moti­vated, proac­tive and able to work inde­pendently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
