To secure this goal, we are looking for a highly moti­vated (Senior) Broker Marine Insu­rance (m/f/d) for our UK branch (London).

Your Tasks

• Place and nego­tiate insu­rance and reinsu­rance risks (Cargo, H&M, P&I and other marine insu­rance clients) in the Lloyd’s and London Market
• Culti­va­tion of exis­ting rela­ti­onships with clients and underwriters
• Close colla­bo­ra­tion with all broking and the busi­ness deve­lo­p­ment teams in the GEORG DUNCKER group
• Expan­ding the stra­tegic network of insurer and placing chan­nels, parti­cu­larly in the Lloyd’s and London Market
• Supporting and advi­sing clients in the marine and ship­ping industry

Your Profile

• Legally autho­rized to work in UK
• 5+ years marine insu­rance broking/ under­wri­ting expe­ri­ence in the Lloyd’s and London market
• Strong product know­ledge and expe­ri­ence across the marine insu­rance sector
• Signi­fi­cant rela­ti­onships with senior leaders across the insu­rance and/or marine, ship­ping, commo­dity trading and energy industry
• Healthy insurer network and/or strong connec­tions within ship­ping /marine/ energy/ commo­dity trading sectors and ability to drive optimal outcomes
• Outstan­ding nego­tia­tion and commu­ni­ca­tion skills
• Team Player and ability to colla­bo­rate closely with colle­agues in various office
