For our office in Hamburg we are looking for a dual student (m/f/d) for the Inter­na­tional Manage­ment program with a specia­liza­tion in insu­rance management.

Your tasks

  • Support and consul­ting of clients in the ship­ping industry in coope­ra­tion with your team
  • Obser­va­tion and analysis of the insu­rance market and joint selec­tion of insu­rance partners
  • Support in the prepa­ra­tion of insu­rance packages and coverage concepts with a focus on ship insurance
  • Support in hand­ling claims of national and inter­na­tional ship­ping compa­nies with vessels of all types and world­wide trade lanes
  • Prepa­ra­tion of statis­tics and presen­ta­tions in MS-Office
  • Docu­ment and billing prepa­ra­tion and control as well as admi­nis­tra­tion of the rele­vant insu­rance documents

Your profile

  • Successfully completed high school diploma or advanced tech­nical college entrance
    qualification
  • Fulfill­ment of the criteria for admis­sion to a study program at the HSBA
  • Very good English and German language skills, both written and spoken (C1), as well as enjoy working with numbers
  • Profi­cient in MS Office
  • Inde­pen­dent, reliable and self-reliant way of working
  • High degree of inte­grity, loyalty and sense of responsibility
  • Team player with strong commu­ni­ca­tion skills
  • Inte­rest in the mari­time world
