For our office in Hamburg we are looking for a dual student (m/f/d) for the Business Administration program with a specialization in insurance management.
Your tasks
- Support and consulting of clients in the shipping industry in cooperation with your team
- Observation and analysis of the insurance market and joint selection of insurance partners
- Support in the preparation of insurance packages and coverage concepts with a focus on ship insurance
- Support in handling claims of national and international shipping companies with vessels of all types and worldwide trade lanes
- Preparation of statistics and presentations in MS-Office
- Document and billing preparation and control as well as administration of the relevant insurance documents
Your profile
- Successfully completed high school diploma or advanced technical college entrance
qualification - Fulfillment of the criteria for admission to a study program at the HSBA
- Very good English and German language skills, both written and spoken (C1), as well as enjoy working with numbers
- Proficient in MS Office
- Independent, reliable and self-reliant way of working
- High degree of integrity, loyalty and sense of responsibility
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Interest in the maritime world
