To secure this goal, we are looking for a highly moti­vated Broker Marine Insu­rance (m/f/d) for our office in
Singa­pore who is committed to grow toge­ther with our expan­ding team.

Your Tasks

  • Servicing the company’s exis­ting client port­folio in their daily operations
  • Support and advice for clients in the ship­ping industry
  • Obser­va­tion and analysis of the insu­rance market and iden­ti­fi­ca­tion of
    insu­rance partners
  • Deve­lo­p­ment of insu­rance packages and coverage concepts with a focus
    on marine insurance
  • Deve­lo­ping propo­sals and presen­ta­tions to both exis­ting and new clients
  • Nego­tia­ting place­ments with inter­na­tional under­wri­ters and cover holders
  • Prepa­ring and analy­sing statis­tical data and deri­ving recom­mended actions
  • Admi­nis­t­ra­ting and produ­cing of rele­vant insu­rance documentation
  • Invoi­cing and clea­ring of premiums with insu­rers and clients
  • Prepa­ra­tion of statis­tics and presen­ta­tions in Power Point and Excel

Your Profile

  • Legally autho­rized to work in Singa­pore (Singa­po­reans and PR are welcomed to apply)
  • Prefer­ably successfully completed studies (busi­ness admi­nis­tra­tion, econo­mics, mari­time sector) / Poly­technic or equi­va­lent level
  • Initial work expe­ri­ence in the mari­time industry
  • Affi­nity and accu­racy in dealing with numbers in daily business
  • Strong nego­tia­tion, commu­ni­ca­tion and presen­ta­tion skills
  • Excel­lent command of written and spoken English
  • Problem-solving atti­tude and taking initia­tives proactively
  • Team player with inde­pen­dent way of working
  • Profi­ci­ency in MS Office (Excel)
