To secure this goal, we are looking for a highly motivated Broker Marine Insurance (m/f/d) for our office in
Singapore who is committed to grow together with our expanding team.
Your Tasks
- Servicing the company’s existing client portfolio in their daily operations
- Support and advice for clients in the shipping industry
- Observation and analysis of the insurance market and identification of
insurance partners - Development of insurance packages and coverage concepts with a focus
on marine insurance - Developing proposals and presentations to both existing and new clients
- Negotiating placements with international underwriters and cover holders
- Preparing and analysing statistical data and deriving recommended actions
- Administrating and producing of relevant insurance documentation
- Invoicing and clearing of premiums with insurers and clients
- Preparation of statistics and presentations in Power Point and Excel
Your Profile
- Legally authorized to work in Singapore (Singaporeans and PR are welcomed to apply)
- Preferably successfully completed studies (business administration, economics, maritime sector) / Polytechnic or equivalent level
- Initial work experience in the maritime industry
- Affinity and accuracy in dealing with numbers in daily business
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Problem-solving attitude and taking initiatives proactively
- Team player with independent way of working
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
