For our office in Rotterdam we are looking for a Broker Marine Insu­rance (m/f/d).

Your Tasks:

• Servicing the company’s exis­ting client port­folio in their daily operations
• Support and advice for clients in the ship­ping industry
• Deve­lo­p­ment of insu­rance packages and coverage concepts with a focus on ship insurance
• Nego­tia­ting place­ments with inter­na­tional under­wri­ters and cover holders
• Admi­nis­t­ra­ting and produ­cing of rele­vant insu­rance documentation
• Prepa­ra­tion of statis­tics and presen­ta­tions in MS Power­Point and Excel
• Invoi­cing and clea­ring of premiums with insu­rers and clients

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies (busi­ness admi­nis­tra­tion, econo­mics, mari­time sector) or completed appren­ti­ce­ship as a ship­ping agent or trans­port insu­rance agent with initial work expe­ri­ence in the mari­time industry
• First expe­ri­ence in the marine insu­rance or ship­ping industry
• Affi­nity and accu­racy in dealing with numbers in daily business
• Strong nego­tia­tion, commu­ni­ca­tion and presen­ta­tion skills
• High customer- and service orientation
• Team player with inde­pen­dent way of working
• Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and English (C1), German is a plus
• Profi­cient in MS Office (Excel)
