Marine Insurance Broker opens a new branch office in the Netherlands

GEORG DUNCKER, one of the world’s leading provi­ders of marine insu­rance brokerage and asso­ciated services, is pleased to announce the opening of a branch office in Rotterdam, Nether­lands, over­seeing the Benelux area.

The appoint­ment of Hans Liem last year was the foun­da­tion to further forma­lize the presence of GEORG DUNCKER within the Benelux area.

The office will be managed by two-well known execu­tives of the marine insu­rance industry, Mr. Hans Liem as Director Benelux and Mr. Willem-Jan van Eijsden as Head of Marine Benelux. Prior to joining GEORG DUNCKER, Hans Liem was the CEO of JLT Nether­lands. Mr. Willem-Jan van Eijsden previously held various senior posi­tions with Dutch P&I and lastely with the Noord Neder­land­sche P&I Club (NNPC).

Beside the head­quar­ters in Hamburg and the newly opened office in Rotterdam, GEORG DUNCKER has two addi­tional branch offices in Singa­pore and the US with 100 employees provi­ding service for inter­na­tional clients.
