moti­vated (Senior) Broker Busi­ness Deve­lo­p­ment Marine Insu­rance (m/f/d) for our office in Singa­pore who is committed to grow toge­ther with our expan­ding team.

Your Tasks:

• Analyze market trends and iden­tify stra­tegic insu­rance partners
• Obser­va­tion and analysis of the insu­rance market and iden­ti­fi­ca­tion on insu­rance partners
• Design and develop tail­ored marine insu­rance packages and coverage solutions
• Actively drive busi­ness growth by iden­ti­fying and acqui­ring new marine insu­rance clients locally, regio­nally, and inter­na­tio­nally, lever­aging exis­ting rela­ti­onships and networks
• Culti­vate strong client rela­ti­onships across Char­te­rers Liabi­lity, Cargo, Hull & Machi­nery, P&I, and related marine insu­rance lines
• Closely colla­bo­rate with colle­agues in our Singa­pore team and the global busi­ness deve­lo­p­ment team based in Germany, ensu­ring seam­less service delivery.
• Expand stra­tegic insurer networks and place­ment channels.
• Provide proac­tive advi­sory support to clients within the marine and ship­ping industry

Your Profile

• Legally autho­rized to work in Singapore
• At least 3 years of rele­vant expe­ri­ence in marine insu­rance broking, under­wri­ting, insu­rance agency, ship­ping, commo­dity trading, or the energy industry
• Ideally strong product know­ledge within marine insu­rance, comple­mented by an estab­lished network and rela­ti­onships among insu­rers or key cont­acts in the ship­ping and other rele­vant marine sectors, with a proven ability to leverage these rela­ti­onships effectively
• Excel­lent inter­per­sonal, nego­tia­tion, and presen­ta­tion skills
• Highly self-moti­vated and driven, with an auto­no­mous working style and proac­tive mindset to inde­pendently iden­tify oppor­tu­ni­ties and actively gene­rate new busi­ness across all marine insu­rance segments
• Colla­bo­ra­tive and team-oriented menta­lity with the ability to coor­di­nate closely with global colle­agues and partners.
