Broker Marine Insu­rance (m/f/d)

For our office in Hamburg we are looking for a Broker Marine Insu­rance (m/f/d).

Your Tasks:

  • Support and consul­ting of custo­mers in the ship­ping sector
  • Obser­va­tion and analysis of the insu­rance market and selec­tion of insu­rance partners
  • Deve­lo­p­ment of insu­rance packages and coverage concepts with a focus on ship insurance
  • Prepa­ra­tion of statis­tics and presen­ta­tions in Power Point and Excel
  • Crea­tion and control of docu­ments and billings
  • Colla­bo­ra­tion in the prepa­ra­tion of market comparisons

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed studies (busi­ness admi­nis­tra­tion, econo­mics, mari­time sector) or completed appren­ti­ce­ship as a ship­ping agent or trans­port insu­rance agent with initial work expe­ri­ence in the mari­time industry
  • Expe­ri­ence in the marine insu­rance or ship­ping industry is an advantage
  • Affi­nity and accu­racy in dealing with numbers in daily business
  • Strong nego­tia­tion, commu­ni­ca­tion and presen­ta­tion skills
  • High customer- and service orientation
  • Team player with inde­pen­dent way of working
  • Prefer­ably German speaker, fluent in spoken and written English (C1)
  • Profi­cient in MS Office (Excel)
